After 4 Or 5 Days Of Torrentioal Rain Some Areas Of South Carolina Received Over 15 Inches Within Only A Few Days Due To Tropical Moisture Associated With Hurricane Joaquin, Many Areas Of South Carolina Were Flooded Making Traditional Means Of Travel Impossible.
South Carolina Valley Prayer Team Members ~ We have been collecting disaster relief supplies for all Hurricane Joaquin affected residents in South Carolina. Due to the extreme amount of rain and wind damage done from fallen trees due to the water saturated ground and record amounts of rain and flooding we have been assisting affected South Carolina Residents. In early October we deployed our teams for eleven days and distributed 5 trucks loads of water, cleaning supplies, and cleaning equipment in the Columbia, South Carolina area. At this stage, early December, we have ceased our mission activities in South Carolina. For all those who participated in our successful missions for the Columbia, South Carolina residents I want to personaly thank you for a job well done.
Thank You ~ Valley Prayer Staff
